Job description

Your passion and energy will be infectious as you welcome our guests and support them through their check-in and check-out procedures. Your natural, down-to-earth manner will help you manage guest expectations in a fast-paced and busy environment. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure no step in the procedures is missed. Managing payments will become second nature, and you will have excellent data entry skills to support accurate reporting.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Greeting and welcoming guests, visitors, and suppliers; answering telephone calls to provide a warm, timely welcome in line with our brand standards.
  2. Answering guest-related queries and providing information on promotions, room prices, activities, and events in the surrounding area to ensure accurate information is shared with guests.
  3. Ensuring payments are processed according to cash handling procedures and managing reservations and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  4. Identifying corporate leads and building long-term relationships.
  5. Driving online mentions and promoting customer feedback.
  6. Understanding online guest feedback and exploring options for improvement.
  7. Carrying out general office duties, including correspondence, emails, and filing, to ensure the smooth operation of the reception area. Maintaining appropriate stock of supplies and reception stationeries.
  8. Effectively communicating with all departments regarding guest requests and complaints to ensure smooth service delivery.
  9. Ensuring the safety of all guests in line with safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

  1. Customer-oriented approach.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Strong attention to detail.
  4. Flexibility, agility, and ability to work under pressure.
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Proactive with excellent organizational skills.
  7. Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

You must have / be:

  1. Minimum of one year experience as a Hotel Receptionist in the Front Office department of a hotel.
  2. Knowledge of Opera PMS.
  3. Arabic language speaking, reading, and writing skills.
