Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in the construction and building industry. Responsibilities
  1. To review specifications,DWG, BOQ ,soil report and to find conflict ,dispute points and toraise clarification request prior pricing for each particular item.
  2. To get Quotations from vendors and to negotiate the prices with them for PS and PC items and to keep it as reference
  3. To Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, and contract documents according to Dubai market pricing.
  4. Manage variations, claims, interim payments, and cost control reporting.
  5. Review subcontractor invoices and perform site measurement.
  6. Assist procurement with material cost benchmarking and supplier evaluation.
  7. Ensure compliance with FIDIC 1987 4th edition and 1999 contract procedures and changes of FIDIC clauses by Developer’s as per Dubai project documentation standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Jr. QS - at least 2 years UAE experience; QS - at least 5 years UAE experience; and Sr. QS at least 8+ years experience in UAE projects.
  • Certifications: RICS preferred.
  • Language & Computer: English proficiency; Excel, CostX, Primavera/Project basics.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms with clients and contractors.
  • Effective communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of construction laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Leadership capabilities to mentor junior staff and influence project outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and contractual understanding.
