Qualifications

The Quantity Surveyor (Villas) will be responsible for managing all aspects of post-contract commercial administration for villa projects. This includes cost control, contract compliance, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual obligations.

Overview

The Quantity Surveyor (Villas) will be responsible for managing all aspects of post-contract commercial administration for villa projects. This includes cost control, contract compliance, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual obligations.

Your role
  • Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractor claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.
About you
  • Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university
  • Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management
  • Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure etc.
  • Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years
  • Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills
