As a key member of our psychiatric department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals with a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric disorders. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication management, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including mental status examinations and patient histories.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders using evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide psychotherapy and medication management as appropriate for each patient.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Engage in clinical supervision and mentorship of junior staff, if applicable.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatry and mental health treatment.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialty training in Psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in psychiatric practice.
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric medications and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interactions with patients and collaborators.
