Projects Financing Manager
We are seeking a commercially astute Projects Financing Manager to structure, manage, and execute financing solutions for large‑scale projects within the cable manufacturing and electrical products sector. This role is responsible for developing project financing models, coordinating with financial institutions, supporting sales and project teams, and ensuring optimal funding structures that enable successful project execution and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Financing Strategy & Structuring
- Develop and implement financing strategies for infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects.
- Structure project financing models, payment terms, and credit arrangements aligned with project requirements.
- Evaluate project financial viability, risks, and return profiles.
- Banking & Financial Institution Coordination
- Establish and manage relationships with banks, export credit agencies, and financial partners.
- Negotiate financing terms, credit facilities, guarantees, and letters of credit.
- Coordinate financing approvals and documentation for project execution.
- Commercial & Sales Support
- Work closely with sales and project teams to support bids and tenders with financing solutions.
- Develop customer financing proposals to enhance competitiveness and deal closure.
- Assess customer creditworthiness and payment risk.
- Financial Analysis & Risk Management
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and sensitivity assessments.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project financial performance against approved financing structures.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, banking requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of financing documentation and agreements.
- Support audits and reporting related to project financing activities.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare financing reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
- Communicate financing status, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement in financing processes and tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or structured financing roles.
- Strong understanding of project financing, credit analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience working with banks, financial institutions, and export credit agencies.
- Knowledge of financing structures in manufacturing or industrial projects is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
