Overview
Avenir International Engineers Consultants are looking for their PMC Client PROJECT MANAGER PM. Qualification: The Project Manager should have a minimum of 5 years within the same organization out of 12 years experience in Project Management, and a minimum overall work experience of 20 years.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Projects Management and Construction Department Manager to meet departmental goals and objectives as set by the Vice President, Engineering Projects Division, in accordance with corporate balanced scorecards and strategies.
- Apply professional project management and value engineering practices for Service Station projects and other related projects from contract award stage to completion and hand-over.
- Ensure that the Company's policy for Health, Safety, and Environment is upheld at project sites and conduct random inspections on HSE issues in coordination with the HSE division.
- Serve as a focal point for multi-project in hand; act as interface between Service Station Projects Manager and end-users, consultants, contractors, suppliers, multi-discipline engineers, and other Engineering Projects staff.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance on a continuous basis to project team members from the consultant and contractors’ side in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, processes, and practices.
- Direct, manage, and supervise the activities of assigned personnel; perform managerial functions at the level established by management for the position.
- Ensure that the quality of material and equipment is as per the specifications and that the final product aligns with the contract scope.
- Manage, direct, and supervise the quality and progress of works performed by Engineering Consultants, Construction contractors, and subcontractors.
- Lead the creation of a risk management plan to identify, analyze, monitor, and respond to risks to ensure the project achieves expected outcomes on time and on budget.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in fast track projects.
- Knowledge and/or training in value engineering concepts and practices.
- Knowledge of International Standards, Codes and Regulations of Oil & Gas Industry, such as API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, BS.
- Proven knowledge and practice of contracts administration.
- Knowledge of the international General Conditions of Construction Contracts/FIDIC.
- Good PC Knowledge (MS Office, Primavera, Project Planner).
- Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures.
- Knowledge of prevailing industry safety standards.
- Industry: Infrastructure projects, Pipelines, LPG Storage tanks.
- Must have driving license. Must know English and Arabic.
