Project Manager-Fujairah

An established oil and gas company with significant terminal storage operations in Fujairah are currently embarking on a major expansion project to enhance our capacity and operational capabilities. As we grow, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team and lead the development of a greenfield/brownfield oil storage tank farm.

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the development of a greenfield/brownfield oil storage tank farm with a CAPEX of 200 million USD. from concept/Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover to operations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering large scale projects in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in construction and commissioning of atmospheric and preferably pressurised storage tanks, associated piping, manifolds, pumps, metering, firefighting systems, utilities, civil/structural works and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project from concept and FEED stages through to detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover to operations.
• Manage EPC/EPCC contracts, including tendering, award, performance management, change/variation control, and claims prevention.
• Oversee all project controls, including scope, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), schedule, cost, risk, progress measurement, reporting, and forecasting.
• Ensure a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and process safety throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Manage and engage with all project stakeholders, including operations, commercial, finance, HSSE, regulators, and JV partners.
• Provide clear and concise reporting to senior management on project status, progress and forecasts.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager on large tank farm, oil storage terminal, or refinery tankage projects.
• It is essential to have a strong background in construction and commissioning of atmospheric and preferably pressurised storage tanks.
• Proven delivery of at least one comparable project (≥USD 100–200 million).
• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or a related Engineering field is essential.
• PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Additional HSE/process safety training is highly desirable.
• International or GCC/Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
