JOB TITLE

Project Manager | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE

ROLE SUMMARY

Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering all the development programs for UAE National, which is considered a strategic approach in terms of building a strong retail future talent pipeline, for MAF Retail across countries. This role focuses on leading the program from a talent management viewpoint and supporting the roll-out of graduates’ development programs with a focus on graduate’s progression, their pre-designed career path, successful program completion and graduation. Ensure graduates’ individual development plans are designed and implemented effectively. Supervise all principal accountabilities working with multiple stakeholders, update on graduate’s progression, learning journey and ensure the graduate’s rotation plan is implemented successfully.The Graduate Program Manager will continuously monitor graduates\' performance throughout the program and provide ongoing support, ensure successful onboarding, learning & development program enrollment and continues progression.

ROLE PROFILE
  • Ensure the smooth and successful graduation of all program participants.
  • Coordinate and oversee all requirements for successful program completion, strictly adhering to predefined program timelines, processes, and activities to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including country People & Organization (P&O) Program Champions, Learning & Development teams, and functional business leaders, to secure the required resources and support for program success.
  • Collaborate with functional managers and the Talent Management & Learning and Development (TM L&D) teams to design and implement Individual Development Plans aligned with program objectives, rotation plans, and business priorities.
  • Assess graduates’ skills, capabilities, and performance to identify suitable long-term roles within the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department heads to match graduates and UAE Nationals with appropriate roles aligned to their qualifications, performance, and career aspirations.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of UAE Nationals throughout the program, providing regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to support their success.
  • Conduct structured performance reviews and regular check-ins to identify development gaps and implement targeted interventions.
  • Identify high-potential graduates and establish a structured talent pool to support succession and key role pipelines across functions and countries.
  • Collaborate with country P&O Talent Management teams to assess, develop, and prepare graduates for future leadership and strategic roles.
  • Work closely with country P&O Talent Management teams to identify and nominate high-potential graduates as Emerging Talent.
  • Conduct regular monthly touchpoints with graduates to maintain open communication, address concerns, and provide updates on program progress.
  • Own and manage the P&O headcount and budget allocated to the graduate program.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in HR or a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on talent management, graduate programs, or similar roles.
  • Experience in managing graduate trainee programs and working with early-career professionals is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, talent development strategies, and performance management processes.
