Job Brief

The Project Coordinator / Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate the construction and setup of a manufacturing facility within JAFZA. This role involves site supervision, coordination with contractors, procurement of materials and systems (HVAC, fire systems, etc.), and ensuring the project progresses according to design, budget, and timeline.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage on-site construction activities within JAFZA.
  • Coordinate between contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee procurement processes for construction materials, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with JAFZA regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, reporting progress to senior management.
  • Manage warehouse and production setup activities as part of the construction project.
  • Support documentation, permits, and inspection requirements as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Civil / Mechanical Degree.
  • 4–5 years of experience in project coordination or management within construction or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience handling projects within JAFZA (mandatory).
  • Experience with facility setup, warehouse, or production area construction.
  • Experience procuring HVAC systems, fire protection systems, and construction materials.
  • Ability to issue RFQs, evaluate vendors, and track procurement progress.
  • Supervision of on-site construction activities.
  • Understanding of safety standards and JAFZA regulations.
  • Strong coordination between contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to prepare progress reports and budget updates.
  • Experience in project documentation, permits, and inspections.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, especially for HVAC and fire systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and coordinate across departments.
