Job Description
  • Study project Shop drawing with details and provide product breakdown and sub product required.
  • Review all production operations and workstations in production departments.
  • Calculate cycle time for each item and sub item.
  • Evaluate the time and motion study for each process.
  • Assigning the recourse (Machine, Man, Material...) to get the standard operation.
  • Create production rout for each product.
  • Coordinating with maintenance department to implement preventive maintenance and critical maintenance and reflect it in production schedule.
  • Analyzing Master production schedule(MPS) and Coordinate with MRP department
  • Create, Modify and mange monthly, weekly production schedule.
  • Providing status and updates to the Management in a timely manner and expected delivery date.
  • Closely monitoring the production process to ensure that production orders completed at time and within budget.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedule.
  • Recommending viable solution to reduce production operation time and cost as well as improve production process and product quality.
  • Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production..
  • Provide Overall Equipment effectiveness (OEE) report and Managing production plan on ERP system.
  • Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production planning efficiency (e.g., on-time delivery, production adherence).
  • Develop capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future resource requirements and Contribute to risk assessments
  • Coordinate with quality control / QA to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards.
  • Plan and control inventory levels (raw material, WIP, finished goods) to balance availability.
  • Maintain detailed production records and ensure data accuracy in ERP and related systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Production engineering, supply chain management.
  • Professional certification such as APICS CPIM / Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / PMP (Preferred).
  • 7-9 Years’ experience in Furniture and wood manufacturing as a production planning.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with Mass production concept and able to run many project inthesametime.
