Overview
Production Engineer - Structural / Growing Line
Responsibilities
- Assist and work closely with the project construction team with project tracking system, schedule management, material distribution/control, and any day-to-day construction requirements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security responsibilities
- Liaise with HSES personnel and report any breach of procedure
- Attend toolbox talks (TBT) and project safety walkthroughs
- Attend weekly project meetings and Engineering/Procurement interface meetings
- Liaise with PM and CM regarding project production issues
- Coordinate with pipe shop, fabrication shop, and fabrication pads to ensure fabrication progresses as per schedule
- Coordinate with supervisors for resolution of technical issues at site/shops
- Liaise with PEM and PPM regarding project-related engineering and materials issues
- Report Engineering–Procurement deliverable delays to project management team and follow up with departments
- Liaise with QC coordinator/inspectors and assist with monitoring quality-related issues
- Attend daily construction meetings to highlight or resolve issues
- Follow up and monitor ITR completion
- Liaise with Commissioning Manager/Engineers on commissioning-related issues
- Distribute AFC drawings to relevant supervisors in various locations as received from engineering
- Ensure As-built drawings are submitted by Production to QC as per engineering requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors for execution of subcontract works
- Monitor subcontract work progress
- Prepare project-related material requisitions
- Coordinate and liaise with other Production/Project Engineers as required
- Assist and monitor materials coordinator for materials issuance process
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies and procedures
Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Construction Industry.
Degree / Diploma in a relevant discipline
