A leading IT service provider in Dubai is seeking a Product Owner to manage the product backlog and drive project delivery. This long-term contract will require strong leadership skills and the ability to refine product needs based on stakeholder feedback. Ideal candidates will have a proactive mindset towards process improvement and a collaborative approach to working with development teams.

• Continuously refine the backlog based on feedback.
• Lead the grooming/prioritisation of the backlog.
• Ensure that the product backlog items are clearly defined and understood.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Demonstrate leadership and ownership of the product.
• Collaborate with the Enabling team to improve delivery.
• Identify areas for process/technology improvement.
• Work as part of the internal development team.

Job description

We are looking for a Product Owner for a Dubai, United Arab Emirates based assignment. This is a long‑term contract engagement with an iconic brand.

• Continuously refine the backlog based on feedback and changing business needs
• Lead the grooming/prioritisation of the backlog based on robust value articulation
• Ensure that the product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by the development team
• Ensure that the product is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, and managing any legal or ethical considerations related to the product
• Demonstrate leadership and ownership of the product, and inspiring others to share and contribute to the product vision and goals
• Collaborate with the Enabling team, including the Agile Coach, to continuously improve how the team delivers value to the business
• Be proactive in identifying areas of process/technology improvement/innovation
• Work as part of the internal development team to achieve project delivery timeframes and qualit
• Ability to define priorities and understand key stakeholders’ needs.
