Product Manager

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Technical and Operations

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap on the assigned product line
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Work closely with the Sales Managers, in every territory, to map and develop the right channel for the product
  • Specify market requirements for current and future product(s) by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to potential and existing customers
  • Lead the vendors’ relations in alignment with the company’s strategy
  • Identify potential partners for the product(s)
  • Provide and manage complex quotations
  • Ensure a proper storage, tracking and control of inventory through an accurate stock management system
  • Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities
  • Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives
  • Ensure the highest level of support and engagement with partners and respond in a timely manner with appropriate resources in order to meet customers’ needs
  • Help build a solid customer database and increase the number of customers
  • Maintain and increase sales for the entire product line to generate long term revenue and profitability
  • Promote the product(s) and the company within the region
Position Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Engineering or any other related field.

Experience
At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. Background in IT distribution or vendor side. Hands-on experience with servers, storage, and networking technologies. Strong connections with System Integrators in the UAE. B2C exposure is a plus.
