Job description

The Procurement Manager – MEP oversees all procurement activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across the project. This includes strategy development, sourcing, technical evaluation, negotiation, vendor coordination, and delivery management. The role ensures timely availability of materials and services, meeting budget, quality, and schedule requirements. Acting as a bridge between engineering, commercial, logistics, and execution teams, the Procurement Manager - MEP ensures seamless project delivery across multiple zones.

Key Accountabilities

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop project-specific MEP procurement plans aligned with construction strategy.

  • Float RFQs, compare quotations, and perform technical-commercial evaluations.
  • Negotiate contracts, issue purchase orders, and manage subcontracts.
  • Ensure timely approvals, submittals, and sample coordination.
  • Expedite deliveries, monitor lead times, and maintain schedules.
  • Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delay, or documentation.
  • Maintain vendor databases and assess supplier performance.
  • Support procurement audits and project closeout documentation.
General Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and QHSE standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and sensitive project information.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports, balanced scorecards, and documentation.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Professional procurement certifications (CIPS, PMP, CSCP) preferred.
