Overview

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Procurement Executive. We are seeking a dedicated, proactive individual with great problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Arabic to join our Procurement Team. The primary objective of the Procurement Executive is to facilitate the procurement process in the College, and ensure that all administration related to procurement are done efficiently, on a timely manner, and in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies governing procurement activities.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the appropriate procurement procedures for the college purchases by using best practices
  • Prepare the procurement document forms in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Prepare contracts, purchase orders, and purchase forms for the college
  • Coordinate and communicate with various university departments and financial departments regarding purchasing
  • Coordinate, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers regarding the college purchases
  • Prepare the annual procurement plan
  • Evaluate suppliers through e-procurement
  • Maintain records of purchasing transactions and document procedures
  • Carry out any other work related to the nature of the work upon assignment
