Job summary

A leading procurement firm in the UAE is seeking a detail-oriented procurement assistant for a part-time position. In this role, you will maintain procurement records, process purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a high school diploma or bachelor's degree. If you have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, this position is for you.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or any bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Certification in related SCM and Procurement is a plus.
  • Experience with logistics software (ERP) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain procurement records and update supplier information.
  • Process purchase orders according to company procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotes and order follow-ups.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in reordering supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain procurement records: Update supplier information order status and documentation in procurement systems.
  • Process purchase orders: Prepare review and issue purchase orders in line with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers: Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes confirm deliveries and follow up on orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels & records: Track stock and assist in reordering supplies to prevent shortages.
Qualifications

  • Certification in related SCM and Procurement is a plus
Skills & Professional Requirements
  • Computersavvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Able to uphold and respect procurement ethics and to conduct activities with integrity.
