Job Purpose
The job holder will lead the development of data-driven pricing frameworks and the execution and delivery of key departmental initiatives that will enable corporate strategy formulation and methods to assess business performance.
Key Result Areas
- Support the development of strategic decision-making frameworks and business performance scorecards by integrating sound business judgement, technical expertise and a data-driven approach.
- Lead the development of data-driven strategies across business verticals by extracting, validating, analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.
- Develop various corporate strategy propositions using competitor assessments and evolution of profit pools.
- Conduct and deliver comprehensive project analyses, including market research, competitive positioning, internal financial analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
- Design and manage executive-level dashboards to key performance indicators by providing insights.
- Evaluate revenue optimization initiatives; including Right source project impacts (BAU vs Initiative) and provide continuous guidance to business teams.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights by identifying trends, patterns, correlations, and present findings through executive summaries and strategic implications across business, industry and competitive landscapes.
- Drive projects from concept to execution by framing analytical framework, generating insights and presenting data-backed recommendations to decision makers.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date policies, process and procedures related to revenue optimization, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and timely execution.
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to support pricing and execution, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a strategic function focusing on Corporate strategies & Performance Insights (e.g. strategy, market intelligence, and/or competitive intelligence, practice of strategy consulting firm, etc. or similar role) of which minimum 3 year experience working in a Top consulting firm is required.
Skills
- Demonstrated success in leading change management, strategic planning, and operating model initiatives with ability to champion projects from beginning through implementation.
- Able to demonstrate hypothesis-driven problem-solving orientation with exceptional ability to create structured quantitative and qualitative analyses (Simulations, Presentation skills are critical).
- Comfortable working under demanding deadlines and producing key senior-executive deliverables.
- Ability to use data effectively, analyze results, and facilitate presentations.
- Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Commercial mindset with ability to size markets and opportunities.
- Strong conceptual problem solving, influencing skills and Strong communication skills (written and oral) including experience in developing C-suite presentations.
