A luxury furniture company is seeking a Project Manager in Dubai to manage Contract projects with oversight on technical, operational, and financial aspects. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of experience in the luxury design sector, along with fluency in English and Italian. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities and managing relationships with both internal teams and clients. Frequent travel to the Gulf area is expected.
The Project Manager will be joining Poltrona Frau's Technical Department and will be responsible for managing Contract projects in the luxury furniture industry, ensuring technical, operational, and financial oversight of the Custom Interiors Business Unit's orders.
Reports to Project Manager Coordinator.
Complete project management: analysis of tender documents, preparation of technical and financial offers, and executive coordination. Reading and interpreting BoQs, specifications, technical drawings, and architectural specifications. Use of AutoCAD (DWG) for positioning furniture on floor plans and verifying measurements. Coordination with architectural firms, interior designers, FF&E consultants, and client-side project managers. Supervision of operational flows: order fulfillment, production, delivery, and installation. Monitoring project financial performance and compliance with deadlines and quality standards. Supervision (when applicable) of suppliers to control production, finishing, and delivery times according to company policies. Management of relationships with internal departments (production, purchasing, logistics, quality) and external suppliers according to company policies. Coordination of complaints: problem analysis, root cause identification and corrective actions. Support for contract and document management of the project.
Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of experience in luxury design sector. Fluency in English and Italian required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Autonomy in managing international projects. Ability to read technical tender documents and contract specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, advanced Excel; knowledge of management and project management software is a plus. Oral and written communication skills, able to interface with architects, clients and internal teams. Organizational and time management skills, problem solving.
Skilfulness to work in multicultural teams. Technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity. Ability to oversee production flows (when required).
United Arab Emirates with availability for frequent travel to the Gulf area.
