Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Supervisors (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Instrument /Process) for our client ADNOC PMC Services in Abu Dhabi as part of our Operations team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based full time at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor all discipline-specific construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, international codes, and project specifications.
  • Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and vendor deliverables.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of systems such as piping, static and rotating equipment, electrical panels, instrumentation loops, civil structures, and process units.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of workmanship, materials, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, QA/QC teams, commissioning engineers, and client representatives to ensure alignment of execution milestones.
  • Track and manage punch lists and mechanical completion activities across all systems and disciplines.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary interface management, ensuring smooth information flow between civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process teams.
  • Participate in HSE audits, constructability reviews, and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support documentation handover processes, including red-line markups, as-builts, and turnover dossiers.
  • Identify and report technical risks, schedule deviations, and field constraints, proposing corrective actions where necessary.

Expected:

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, or Process/Chemical) from an accredited institution, or Diploma in related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum five (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.
  • In-depth knowledge of international engineering codes and standards such as ASME, API, IEC, ISO, and ACI.
  • Proficient in reviewing and approving method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), technical drawings, vendor documents, and red-line markups.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary construction, QA/QC requirements, HSE protocols, and mechanical completion processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and document control systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills to manage diverse teams and interface with stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, initiative, and problem-solving ability, with a commitment to quality and safety.
