Job summary

A major electrical contracting company in the UAE is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop and manage project schedules for electrical contracting projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and resources. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, preparing reports, and coordinating with project teams. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 1-3 years of relevant experience, possessing strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning software. Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction/electrical contracting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical contracting projects preferred.
• Understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Monitor and update schedules reflecting progress and changes.
• Prepare project progress reports for management.
