Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning engineer with extensive UAE construction experience to lead the project planning and scheduling function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely delivery and proactive risk management across complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive baseline project schedules usingPrimavera P6, integrating all project phases, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Conduct detailed delay analysis, resource loading, productivity tracking, and schedule risk assessmentsto support project decision‑making.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to provide regular program updates, progress reports, and forecast planning.
  • Prepare and present early warning reports, trend analyses, and mitigation plans to address potential delays or deviations.
  • Interface closely with Quantity Surveyors (QS), Procurement, and Engineering teamsto ensure alignment of schedules with cost, material, and design deliverables.
  • Support claims management and extension of time (EOT) analysis with accurate schedule documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6is essential; Primavera P6 Certification is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or AACE’s PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) are highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in delay analysis (EOT), risk management, and resource optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex schedule information clearly.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural project environment.
