Job Description:

Foreground is partnering with a specialty coffee house in Sharjah that is redefining the café experience with high-quality coffee and an artisanal approach to food. As part of their growth, they are looking for an experienced Pastry & International Cuisine Chef to curate a unique menu that complements their specialty coffee offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a high-quality menu featuring pastries and international cuisine that enhances the cafés coffee experience.
  • Introduce seasonal and trend-driven items, ensuring a fresh and dynamic menu.
  • Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality across all offerings.
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring compliance with UAE food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, optimize workflows, and maintain cost control.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team to uphold high standards of execution.
  • Source premium ingredients, manage inventory, and collaborate with suppliers.
  • Stay updated on international culinary trends and integrate them into the menu.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef with expertise in international cuisine, preferably in a high-end café or restaurant.
