Job summary

A leading consultancy in specification management is seeking a Specification Manager in the United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on promoting products to architects and designers across Saudi Arabia, establishing strong relationships, and driving specifications into sales. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in specification sales, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both English and Arabic. Regular travel within the KSA is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in specification sales, preferably in Hardware or Building Materials.
  • Experience with brands such as Hafele, Blum, Grass, FGV, or Salice is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across KSA.

Responsibilities

  • Specify company products to architects and designers.
  • Promote product specifications through presentations and engagement activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architect offices.
  • Identify new business opportunities and network with key decision-makers.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to manage projects from specification to sales.

Job description

Seeking a proactive and technically skilled Specification Manager to promote and specify our products to architects, designers, contractors, and developers across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This role is key in building strong relationships with design professionals and ensuring company products are the preferred choice in project specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to convert specifications into sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specify company products to architects, designers, client cost consultants, main contractors, and developers across the KSA region.
  • Promote product specifications through visits, presentations, lunch & learns, and other engagement activities with architect and interior design offices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architect and designer offices to enhance company’s brand presence in the marketplace.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking with key decision-makers and interior design firms in the industry.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders to manage projects from specification through to sales conversion.
  • Attend internal and external trainings to stay current on new products, industry developments, and specification techniques.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge and provide technical support to customers and sales teams as required.
  • Travel regularly within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to build and maintain relationships and promote company products.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; Engineering, Marketing, Interior Design, or related fields preferred.
  • Relevant sales or specification certifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in specification sales, preferably in Hardware, Building Materials, or related industries.
  • Experience with brands such as Hafele, Blum, Grass, FGV, or Salice is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of interior design and/or hardware products preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across KSA.
