Operations Manager-Accommodation Services

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for anOperations Manager – Accommodation Servicesto join our Accommodation Services and Projects team in our Headquarters, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone.

Scope: Responsible for the smooth running, safety, hygiene, and overall zone-wise accommodations supervision. This includes the coordination of all activities in a large and culturally diverse group of staff accommodations. Responsible for a safe, efficient, and financially effective accommodation support services within budgetary guidelines in the designated area of operations.

• Responsible for the accommodation team’s review of daily occupancy data for the respective zone.
• Maintains complete details of employees staying in the accommodations of the respective zone and facilitates checking in/out of staff according to company procedure.
• Ensure mobilization and demobilization of accommodations at dedicated area are achieved within allocated timeline.
• Monitoring of water and electricity consumption in the zone and provide necessary control measures.
• Follow up on closing of aging jobs with facility management timely.

Customer

• Responsible for the welfare and safety of all residents, support staff, visitors, and contractors in the zone.
• Liaise and support BU’S during client audits and inspections.
• Managing a team of managers, supervisors, security, and sub-contractor activities.
• Liaise with and follow up for the closeout and compliance of operational and local authority.

Process

• Coordinates emergency response activities in the zone
• Oversee all aspects of the Accommodation’s operation including facilities, staffing, food, housekeeping and handling complaints.
• Reacting to, implementing and in some cases enforcing senior management and/or authority requirements to the zone wise team on the ground and reporting back on progress.
• Manage and control entire zone daily operations in accordance with Transguard policies and HSE guidelines.
• Participate and responsible for implementation of risk assessment and control measure in the zone.
• Audit and monitor rooms, bedding issues in the zone.
• Conduct weekly and monthly staff briefings to ensure focus on operational excellence.
• Responsible in managing team time and attendance, annual leave and staff shifting.
• Conduct regular meetings with managers, supervisors, ASO and laundry technicians on accommodation related issues.
• Ensure individual and team clarity around roles, responsibilities and deliverables via a strong performance driven and safety culture.
• Keep up to date with all changes in processes, policy, and business developments.
• Attends weekly/monthly management meetings to discuss challenges and find solutions for continued improvement of standards.
