We are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager with a strong background in F&B/food manufacturing to lead and streamline our bakery's end-to-end operations. You will be responsible for overseeing production, supply chain, quality control, and day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency, food safety compliance, and cost control, while supporting our strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight
Lead daily operations across production, packaging, inventory, and delivery.
Implement and improve SOPs to enhance workflow, reduce downtime, and ensure consistent product quality. - Production Planning & Supply Chain
Optimize production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
Liaise with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of organic and allergen-free ingredients.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor input costs. - Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and internal hygiene protocols.
Drive HACCP/ISO certification efforts and continuous improvement programs.
Establish QC benchmarks and audits for raw materials and final products. - People & Performance Management
Supervise and train the production and operations teams (30–50 employees).
Introduce KPIs across production, logistics, and waste management.
Foster a culture of accountability, training, and team development. - Strategic Projects
Support expansion into new retail and delivery channels by refining logistics and fulfillment models.
Work closely with leadership on product launch readiness, packaging innovation, and process scalability.
Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and present actionable solutions.
Experience & Qualifications Expected
- 5–8 years of operations experience in the food & beverage, bakery, or food manufacturing sector.
- Strong familiarity with organic production and allergen-sensitive processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale efficient production systems.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
