Job Title: Oil and Gas Field Asset Operation Specialist

Job Purpose

The Oil and Gas Field Asset Operation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing all operational activities related to equipment used in oil and gas field projects. This role acts as the bridge between the sales, service, safety, and asset management teams to ensure equipment is properly prepared, certified, and dispatched in compliance with client and project standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Equipment Coordination and Availability
    • Receive equipment requests from the sales team and verify availability in warehouse and inventory systems.
    • Confirm with the sales team regarding order details and project-specific equipment requirements.
    • Reserve and allocate equipment for upcoming oil and gas field projects as per demand.
  • 2. Safety and Certification Compliance
    • Liaise with client project safety personnel to confirm project-specific safety and certification standards.
    • Ensure all equipment complies with ADNOC, CICPA, Army, offshore, and onshore project requirements.
    • Verify third‑party certifications, inspection stickers, and modification needs prior to dispatch.
  • 3. Equipment Preparation and Inspection
    • Supervise the pre‑dispatch inspection process including checks on:
    • Motion alarm functionality
    • Reflective stickers and anti‑collision strips
    • Fire extinguishers and first aid box availability
    • Third‑party certificates and inspection stickers
    • Paint touch‑ups and wire insulation
    • Zone 2 fittings, SkyGuard system, and oil leak prevention measures
    • Coordinate with the service team and supervisors to monitor preparation progress and timelines.
  • 4. Client Coordination and Pre‑Dispatch Verification
    • Share all required equipment documents with client safety teams before dispatch.
    • Arrange and host client inspections at the yard prior to dispatch to confirm equipment readiness and compliance with project standards.
    • Provide regular progress updates to the sales and project management teams.
  • 5. Site Operations and After‑Rent Follow‑Up
    • Coordinate with the service team to resolve on‑site equipment breakdowns promptly and minimize rental business loss.
    • Track and ensure timely preventive maintenance for all equipment deployed at oil and gas field projects.
    • Maintain an updated online record of all equipment currently operating at oil and gas project sites.
    • Upon equipment return, update asset lists, inspect condition, and prepare the units for the next deployment.
  • 6. Documentation and Gate Pass Management
    • Understand and manage documentation requirements for various oil and gas clients including ADNOC, CICPA, and military‑related projects.
    • Facilitate issuance of LOA (Letter of Authorization) and gate passes for service teams, vehicles, and tools required to access client sites.
    • Ensure all project‑related documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • 7. Cross‑Departmental Coordination
    • Act as a communication bridge between the Asset Management, Service, Client Safety, and Business Development teams.
    • Support the entire process from order confirmation to equipment dispatch, client inspection, field operations, and equipment return.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in equipment operations or asset coordination within the oil and gas or heavy equipment rental industry.
  • Strong understanding of UAE oil and gas field operational standards (ADNOC, CICPA, Offshore, Onshore).
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of equipment certification, inspection, and safety compliance procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and online record management systems.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
