Job description
Overview
  • Support the development and strengthening of institutional relationships with strategic partners, including DFIs, EXIM banks, government ministries, and commercial banks.
  • Assist in executing co-financing arrangements, strategic alliances, and joint initiatives to expand ATFP’s market reach, enhance its resource base, and support the achievement of its mandate.
Partnership Development
  • Assist in identifying and engaging new institutional partners aligned with ATFP’s strategic objectives.
  • Support relationship management activities with existing partners, ensuring regular communication, updates, and alignment on joint initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, partnership forums, and workshops with DFIs, government agencies, and financial institutions to foster collaboration opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed and updated records of partnership engagements, agreements, and activity outcomes.
Co-Financing and Strategic Alliances
  • Support the structuring and negotiation of co-financing arrangements and strategic alliances by gathering relevant information and preparing required documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., credit, legal, risk) to ensure alignment of partnership arrangements with ATFP’s operational frameworks.
  • Track and monitor the progress of partnership projects and joint initiatives, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
Market Intelligence and Reporting
  • Conduct research and analysis on potential partners, market trends, and regional trade initiatives to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Prepare periodic reports on partnership development activities, progress on co-financing arrangements, and key engagement metrics.
  • Contribute insights and recommendations for strengthening ATFP’s partnership network and enhancing market positioning.
General Accountabilities
  • Ensure adherence to ATFP’s internal policies, governance frameworks, and procedures in all partnership-related activities.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to maximize the impact of partnerships on trade finance origination and trade promotion activities.
  • Contribute to building a high-performance, collaboration-driven culture within the Department.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or client relations, preferably within financial institutions or trade finance organizations.
  • Strong understanding of financial sector dynamics, especially development finance and trade finance institutions.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Prior experience working with DFIs, EXIM banks, or multilateral development organizations.
