Overview
The NRI Wealth Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth non-resident Indian (NRI) clients. This role involves providing bespoke financial advice, investment management, and wealth planning services tailored to the unique needs of NRI clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth NRI clients.
- Understand clients\' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates with clients to ensure their financial plans remain aligned with their objectives.
- Provide comprehensive financial planning and advisory services, including retirement planning, tax optimization, estate planning, and education fee planning.
- Develop and implement tailored investment strategies that meet clients\' financial goals.
- Investment Management
- Construct and manage bespoke investment portfolios, ensuring diversification and alignment with clients\' risk tolerance.
- Monitor and review investment performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimise returns.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the NRI market.
- Conduct seminars, webinars, and networking events to attract potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing strategies targeting the NRI segment.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all advisory activities comply with local and international regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on clients\' financial plans.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory, with a focus on high-net-worth clients, and a transferable book of clients and AUM.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
