Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, including those with complex medical conditions.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of neonates to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and nursing staff to ensure seamless care for mothers and infants.
  4. Perform necessary procedures such as intubation, resuscitation, and insertion of IV lines.
  5. Monitor and manage the progress of neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
  6. Educate parents and families about neonatal care, health issues, and treatment options.
  7. Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance neonatal care practices.
