A progressive educational institution in Dubai is looking for a proficient Music Teacher to teach from FS to Post-16. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's in Music, a PGCE with QTS, and at least 3 years of teaching experience, ideally overseas. The role involves enhancing the music curriculum, overseeing music productions, and adapting teaching to meet diverse learners' needs. We are looking for a Music Teacher | Whole School, to lead, plan, deliver and assess the teaching of Music and Music Technology from FS to Post-16. The successful candidate should have experience in teaching both primary and secondary music and be competent at incorporating authentic inquiry and ecological principles into their teaching.

The successful candidate will be a proficient and experienced Music teacher, ideally with experience across multiple age ranges and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of learners from FS1 through to Post-16. Experience of teaching GCSE/iGCSE and A Level Music and/or Music Technology is highly desirable. The postholder will be an integral member of the school’s creative team, with responsibilities that contribute across the whole school.
The role includes leading the preparation, delivery, and evaluation of schemes of work in line with National Curriculum requirements, with a strong focus on challenge, pace, high-order questioning, and thinking skills to support students in achieving the highest possible outcomes at all key stages. The postholder will further enhance the school’s music provision by overseeing music both within and beyond the curriculum, liaising with peripatetic teachers, leading school musical productions, and developing a strong and engaging music ECA programme. A passion for music across the school is essential, with a commitment to identifying student interest and talent, providing performance opportunities, and ensuring an inclusive approach that supports and inspires all learners.
