Job Descriptions

As an Appointment Agent, you will work under the general supervision of the Supervisor, following established policies and procedures to oversee all reservation activities.

  • Schedule and enter room reservation requests using the Opera (Hotel Management System)
  • Respond promptly to telephone and email inquiries
  • Update reservations to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Maximize revenue by upselling guest rooms and promoting hotel facilities
  • Coordinate with Sales and other departments as needed
  • Respond to questions regarding hotel products and services via telephone, fax, email, etc.
  • Make reservations with accurate information to exceed guest expectations
  • Understand Revenue Management strategies, sell room levels, and market rates, applying these strategies based on available hotel inventory
  • Maintain knowledge of all facilities across the hotel's properties in the UAE, including services and operating hours, to respond confidently and effectively to inquiries
  • Consistently demonstrate a commitment to excellent guest service and profitability, fulfilling designated responsibilities
  • Ability to cross-sell properties and enhance cross-sell conversion rates
