About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Mine Planning Engineer to join our team and lead the development of long-term mine plans across multiple quarry operations. This strategic role is critical to ensuring sustainable production, optimal resource utilisation, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain long-term mine plans (3–10 year horizon) aligned with business goals and geological data.
  • Collaborate with geology, operations, and maintenance teams to integrate planning with production targets.
  • Conduct pit optimisation, life-of-mine scheduling, and reserve modelling using industry-standard software.
  • Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and planning documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all plans comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mine planning, preferably in hard rock quarrying.
  • Proficiency in mine planning software such as Deswik Surpac, MineSched, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with UAE mining regulations is an advantage.
