Responsibilities
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Develops and maintains documentation and procedures and systems to ensure that material needs and requirements are effectively met.
- Raising the relevant issue documentation for the requested material and ensuring that the material is issued in a timely manner to suit the fabrication schedule.
- Work closely with production engineers, materials engineers and warehouse personnel to determine material requirement schedule, identify overdue materials and track materials.
- Examine material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
- Compile and maintain manual / computerized records such as material requests / return notes, in-process production reports, status and location of materials.
- Responsible for coordinating raw material flow between on-site warehouses.
- Developing status reports of delivered and outstanding materials for different departments as requested.
- Coordinate with Production Engineers & QC Engineers to ensure proper material traceability records.
- All other duties as assigned by the HOD.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma and with minimum 3 years experience in the Oil & Gas related construction industry.
Understanding and knowledge of materials used in this Industry (Types, Description, Codes, Specifications).
Good computer skills, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
