Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive management experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Receive Master Production Plan (MPS) from demand planning section.
• Review production schedules and execute master production policies.
• Coordinate with the Technical department to revise Bill of materials.
• Place purchase requisition and follow up with purchasing department.
• Manage materials requirements with Purchasing and Warehouse.
• Follow up on deviations of materials consumption and take corrective action.
• Issue requisition and maintain inventories of imported materials.
• Monitor flow of scrap materials and slow-moving items.
• Evaluate Performance of Materials Section.
• Monitor obsolete materials and coordinate for alternatives.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Receive Master Production Plan (MPS) from demand planning section.
• Review production schedules plans for manufacture products & achieve customer satisfaction and execute master production policies such as the establishment of plan time fences, determination of safety stock quantities and the setting of Lot sizes and follow opening and closing of work order and how to decrease deviation of material for work order.
• Coordinate with the Technical department to periodically revise the Bill of materials consumption rates.
• Place purchase requisition and follow up with purchasing department ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities.
• Manage the materials requirements with the Purchasing and Warehouse departments.
• Follow up the deviations of materials consumption rate and take corrective action where necessary.
• Issue requisition and maintain inventories of imported materials and supplies necessary to meet the production plans.
• Monitor the flow of scrap materials and slow-moving items.
• Evaluate the Performance of Materials Section by calculating the turnovers ratio and availability of materials and days of supplies.
• Monitor obsolete materials and coordinate with Technical, Production, Sales, Quality and Finance to take action for using them as alternative materials.

Minimum Qualification

University degree in a related field (Engineering). Certifications or trainings on Planning and Supply Chain preferred.
