Responsibilities

• Review marketing, sponsorship, branding, and advertising materials from a regulatory compliance perspective.
• Advise leadership and business units leaders on regulatory risks and best practices.
• Engage external counsel when clarification on compliance or regulatory risks is needed.
• Develop and implement protocols for managing compliance incidents related to marketing activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting marketing and promotional activities globally.
• Update internal compliance guides, regulatory trackers, and marketing compliance frameworks in a timely manner.
• Conduct training sessions for marketing and business teams on compliance-related topics.
• Prepare regular compliance reports highlighting marketing risks, incidents, and mitigation plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, industry groups, and external stakeholders relevant to marketing compliance.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer called to the bar in SG, MY, UK, or HK.
• Minimum 4 years PQE in regulatory compliance, preferably in the crypto / web3 space across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex legal and regulatory texts.
• Proven experience in reviewing marketing materials, sponsorship agreements, and advertising compliance.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, yet able to see strategic and operational implications.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, start-up environment and culturally aware.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
