Synopsis
The Manager, Marketing & Communications is responsible for the execution and coordination of marketing and communications initiatives across Velora, ensuring consistent messaging, strong internal engagement, and effective delivery of commercial and corporate communications. The role translates approved communication priorities into well-managed campaigns, communications, and events, operating with strong execution discipline while aligning with Velora’s brand, governance, and commercial objectives.
Accountabilities
Marketing & Communications Execution
- Execute corporate marketing and communications initiatives aligned with approved priorities, brand guidelines, and messaging frameworks.
- Manage the corporate marketing & communications calendar, tracking priorities, timelines, dependencies, and approvals.
- Draft, coordinate, and publish internal communications (announcements, leadership messages, campaigns, newsletters) with clarity and consistency.
- Support external communications activities as required, in coordination with senior marketing leadership.
Event & Campaign Delivery
- Coordinate the planning and execution of internal and external events, including townhalls, leadership engagements, and commercial initiatives.
- Manage logistics, vendors, content coordination, and on-the-day execution.
- Ensure delivery is timely, aligned with objectives, and professionally executed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a coordination point between Commercial, HR, Digital & Innovation (D&I), Finance, Operations, and other functions.
- Ensure alignment on messaging, approvals, and delivery milestones.
- Liaise with external agencies and suppliers where required.
Delivery & Project Discipline
- Apply structured execution discipline to marketing and communications initiatives via defining scope and deliverables, building timelines and action plans, and tracking risks, dependencies, and approvals.
- Provide regular progress updates to the CCO and functional guidance updates to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications.
Brand & Content Governance
- Coordinate creative and production workflows (design, print, digital).
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards across all materials.
- Maintain version control and approval records.
Performance Tracking
- Track basic performance indicators (engagement, attendance, delivery effectiveness).
- Capture learnings and recommend practical improvements to execution and coordination.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 8–9 years of relevant finance experience in marketing, communications, internal communications, or corporate affairs.
- Experience in complex or regulated environments is an advantage.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills (English required; Arabic an advantage).
- Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement capability.
- Execution-focused mindset with attention to detail.
- Practical event and campaign coordination experience.
