Essential Job Functions

• Manage security architecture projects and initiatives overseeing project teams.
• Collaborate with teams to implement security solutions ensuring adherence to security standards.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies best practices and risk mitigation approaches.
• Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures.
• Participate in security assessments and assist with compliance efforts.
• Communicate security-related information to stakeholders.
• Monitor security incidents and support incident response efforts.
• Support the training and development of junior staff.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (i.e. Computer Science Information Security) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically 7 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of relevant work experience in security architecture
• Proven experience in managing security projects and teams
• Knowledge of security principles technologies and compliance requirements

Other Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Information Security or a related field a plus
• Relevant certifications (i.e. CISSP CISM) or advanced training a plus
