Overview

About Wynn Al Marjan Island: On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with UAE labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Manage and mentor the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data, including attendance records, overtime, and deductions.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and payment of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including professional information, salary details, and benefits.
  • Ensure all payroll related accruals are prepared and posted monthly.
  • Ensure all payroll related balance sheet schedules are prepared, reviewed, authorized and retained for future reference.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Assist in preparation and completion of monthly payroll, professional tax, social security fund and other applicable schedules/requirements as per UAE.
  • Perform testing in payroll system functions for upgrade and enhancement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
