MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To manage development, implementation, and maintenance of commercial systems and provide roadmap in alignment with the strategic vision of flydubai while developing and implementing comprehensive distribution strategies to optimize sales channels, expand market reach, and maximize revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and monitors the health of commercial systems performance with defined metrics and necessary control checks at various levels.
- Formulates system specifications through end user interactions and gets them translated into functionality through external and internal technology teams.
- Evaluates adoption of new functionalities and system enhancements by measuring impact on revenue and work processes. Communicates development roadmaps to Revenue Management Leadership.
- Leads cross-functional projects, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration across commercial and technology teams delivering revenue excellence.
- Facilitates technology adoption for Modern Airline Retailing such as New Distribution Capability (NDC), Offer-Order Management System (OOMS).
- Stays abreast with latest developments in emerging trends in AI/ML technologies, revenue management and pricing practices, airline distribution strategies and analytics tool capabilities.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of all distribution channels periodically and communicates to Senior Management with defined KPIs.
- Negotiates contracts and steers a healthy working relationship with distribution partners such as Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and other platforms.
- Monitors and evaluates revenue management metrics. Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to commercial stakeholders including executives and senior management.
- Leads and mentors a team of analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive professional development and team success.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Degree in Engineering / Finance / Statistics / Accounting / Economics / Mathematics
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 5 years working in Revenue Management
- Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years
- Project Management (Preferred)

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
