Overview
Reporting to the Boutique Manager, you will be part of the sales team within our Beauty Boutique (make-up, fragrances and skin-care), and you will contribute to engage our clients by creating a unique and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- To embody Chanel values and DNA
- Share solid knowledge of the brand, its heritage and know-how with clients as well as the team
- Co-create stories with and for clients, share the brand culture and blend it with the clients’ personal story
- Nourish a beauty culture, constantly follow latest trends and be pro-active in self-learning
- Be a brand ambassador by respecting grooming guidelines at all time
- To surpass client expectations
- Create a tailor-made experience, offer personalized solutions and ensure excellence in client service in accordance with Chanel’s rituals and standards
- Ensure clients are welcomed in a high-level manner to create a strong relationship with them and ensure brand loyalty
- Develop cross-selling among all categories in the boutique
- Handle clients service complaints and requests effectively and according to guidelines
- Build your own client data base and work on clienteling along with your Manager
- To be a Make-up Artist
- Support and coach the team by sharing your extensive knowledge in make-up
- Be creative in terms of make-up applications and grooming as per Chanel standards
- Give recommendations (action plans, animations, new ideas…) to constantly enhance and boost the make-up category
- Share best practices with the team to offer make-up during the selling ceremony and develop cross-selling among all categories
- Be aware of the latest trends in make-up (color trends, techniques, competitors, innovations, digital…)
To operate the Boutique
- Ensure the Boutique is perfectly well maintained in respect to the VM guidelines
- Understand and participate in the operation of the Boutique and provide your Manager with appropriate reports
- Collaborate with others and contribute to build the success of the Boutique by achieving sales targets and KPIs
You will bring
- Significant experience as Make Up Artist within a high-end or Luxury Retail environment
- Your passion about the field of Beauty, particularly make-up
- A strong understanding of client experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and sense of initiative, along with a strong intercultural approach
- Fluency in English is a must. Arabic would be an advantage.
