Job summary

A leading energy company in the UAE seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for performing maintenance activities and coordinating with engineers. Candidates should hold a technical certificate or Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance and have experience with CSP Technologies, with UAE/Emirati applicants preferred. The role involves executing maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, and carrying out preventive maintenance duties, making it an essential position within the team.

Qualifications

• A technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance.
• Proven experience in CSP Technologies is preferable (Solar field Operator).
• UAE/Emirati with FAMILY BOOK is preferred.

Maintenance Technician

Responsible for performing maintenance activities, following O&M procedures and HSE guidelines, and coordinating with Maintenance Engineers (Elec, Mech, I&C).

Operation and Maintenance Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is safely isolated in coordination with engineers, shift charge supervisors, and control‑room operators before starting work, maintaining risk assessment for de‑energized or live systems.
• Execute maintenance tasks.
• Prepare work permits in ENGICA (JHA, supplementary permits: WAH, HOT work, etc.).
• Check notifications and work orders in SAP.
• Carry out preventive, corrective, predictive, and precision maintenance activities for all plants under the direction of Maintenance Engineers.
• Perform housekeeping after each intervention (5S).
• Inspect maintenance tools as required under Maintenance Engineer direction.

Minimum Qualifications

• A technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Mechanical maintenance.
• Proven experience in CSP Technologies is preferable (Solar field Operator).
• UAE/Emirati with FAMILY BOOK is preferred.
