Job summary

A leading educational institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled maintenance professional. The role involves overseeing all maintenance activities at the campus, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. Candidates must hold relevant trade certificates and have at least 15 years of MEP works experience. Responsibilities also include supporting IT and AV maintenance needs, conducting inspections, and managing emergency situations. Responsibilities

  • Attend to all maintenance tasks at CMHS building including electrical and plumbing.
  • Evaluate and monitor contractor work progress on maintenance projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility.
  • Support IT and AV sections for maintenance.
  • Supervise and support administrative departments during major works.

  • attending all types of maintenance at CMHS building which includes electrical, plumping, aluminum, carpentry and drainage. Also support all activities at CMHS.
  • Evaluate, monitor and facilitate contractor work progress of CMHS building maintenance or renovation project.
  • Routine inspection of the entire facility on a daily basis.
  • Support IT and AV section for modifications and maintenance within the campus.
  • Support faculty and staff for requirement that comes on a daily basis.
  • Supervise and support administration department for any major maintenance and modification works.
  • Supports students and externals activities in and around the building.
  • Support facilities department in the absences of the supervisor.
  • Support housing department in the absence of staff and in case of emergencies.
  • Purchase petty cash materials on emergency basis.
  • Any other duties assigned by his immediate supervisor and superiors.
  • Electrical Works:
    • Maintaining and over-haling of main panels and switch boards.
    • Maintenance of existing electrical systems in the campus.
    • Replacing damaged bulbs and tubes for lighting all over the campus.
    • Maintain stocks of emergency electrical consumables and spares for maintenance works.
  • Plumping:
    • All plumping works like modification, repair and maintenance of existing facilities and new minor requirements.
    • All plumping works for the irrigation system including break down maintenance and rectification works.
    • Maintain stocks of emergency plumping materials for maintenance works.
  • Carpentry & Aluminum Works:
    • Repair and maintenance of all wooden and aluminum works in the campus.
    • Re-organize offices and repair furniture in the campus
  • Space Management:
    • Modify work spaces according to the requirement and needs for the faculty and staff members as and when required.
  • Emergency:
    • Support emergency calls related to power failure or piping works or any other emergency situation 24 x 7.
    • Carry out overtime works based on the demand of work or timeline.
