Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with over 2 years of experience in machining. Job description

Every phase of our manufacturing process ensures our products comply with rigorous international standards, such as NATO and CIP. Advanced technologies, including additive manufacturing and CAD/CAM, are at the core of our design and prototyping processes. We continually enhance our weapons so they remain aligned with the evolving mission requirements of our customers. As a result, our products provide those on the front lines with the firepower they need for mission success.

Core Accountabilities
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures related to the Operations department.
  • Adheres to company policies, procedures and work processes.
  • Perform the following activities on a daily basis as per instruction from the machining supervisor:
    • Receive job assignment from machining supervisor at the start of the shift.
    • Ensure all material, documentation and tooling to perform the job are available.
    • Load and unload parts to the machine.
    • Perform tool offset adjustments.
    • Activation of current loaded NC Program upon confirmation of the machining supervisor.
    • Perform tool changes with measurement and edit the tool library.
    • Report the daily output and ensure to fill the required documentation.
  • Perform de‑burring and bench work as required.
  • Carry out product measurement (WSI worker self‑inspection) and ensure product conformity.
  • Report any reject, issue, error and non‑conformity immediately to the machining supervisor.
  • Fill the actual output data in the production order.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Follow the daily maintenance work‑instruction/checklist to ensure that the machine will remain clean and operational.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Remove and clean the chip bin, regularly.
  • Add coolant to the machine at regular intervals.
  • Manufacture parts following the technical instructions from manufacturing engineer, CAD/CAM engineer and machine setup technician.
  • Handover finished and validated parts to the following sequence in the production order.
  • Work within the limits of authority as defined by the Machining Supervisor.
  • Take responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks involved in your specific job capacity within the organization.
  • Actively participate in EHS initiatives and other safety related teams in the organization.
Experience & Educational Qualifications
  • Technical Diploma in the relevant field is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Production) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in machining in a manufacturing environment.
