Job summary

A regional leader in small arms manufacturing based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to optimize supply chain operations. This role involves communication with the transportation team, shipment preparation, and reporting to management. A diploma in Business Administration and 3 years of relevant experience are required. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer relations and knowledge of logistics processes. Core Accountabilities
  • Communicate with the transportation team to ensure prompt pick‑up and delivery of shipments.
  • Prepare loads for shipment.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management and oversee supply chain operations.
  • Utilize logistics processes to optimize shipping and transport.
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
  • Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively.
  • Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
  • Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Take a responsible approach to health, safety, and environmental risks involved in your specific job capacity within the organization.
Experience & Educational Qualifications
  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Knowledge of working with freight forwarders for shipment.
