Employment Type: Full-Time

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Librarian to join our team in Khalifah A City, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, maintaining organization and order, and providing excellent customer service to library patrons.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library's collection by cataloging, processing, shelving, and weeding materials
• Maintain organization and order of the library by ensuring shelves are properly labeled and materials are easily accessible
• Provide assistance to patrons by answering inquiries related to library services and resources
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate record keeping of all materials
• Create engaging displays and programs to promote library resources and services
• Assist with circulation duties including checking materials in and out, collecting fines, and issuing library cards

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) is a must
