Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Logistics Teacher is responsible for delivering instruction and hands-on training in warehouse operations, inventory management, supply chain logistics, and related topics. The role aims to equip students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed for careers in logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Teaching & Instruction:
  • Deliver engaging lessons on warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, safety procedures, and logistics systems.
  • Use real-world examples and case studies to enhance student understanding.
  • Integrate technology and software tools used in modern warehouse management (e.g., WMS, barcode systems).
Practical Training:
  • Supervise hands-on training in simulated or real warehouse environments.
  • Teach students how to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scanners) safely and efficiently.
  • Guide students in organizing, storing, and tracking inventory.
Curriculum Development:
  • Develop and update course materials aligned with industry standards.
  • Incorporate current trends in supply chain and logistics.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure relevance of training.
Assessment & Evaluation:
  • Design and administer assessments, practical tests, and projects.
  • Provide feedback and support to help students improve.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Professional Development & Collaboration:
  • Stay current with developments in logistics and warehousing.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Work with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning.
  • Ensure adherence & compliance to policies, procedures, standards, Health & Safety requirements, ethical code of conduct & values.
Key Accountabilities:
