Leadership Development Manager - UAE National

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment & Planning
- Develop and execute a leadership development strategy aligned with the mission, vision and long‑term goals.
- Partner with senior leadership and HR to identify current and future leadership needs and strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Institute of Learning (IOL) and executive leaders to align leadership development with broader organisational objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong strategic alliances with internal stakeholders and external partners to support leadership development efforts.
- Ensure leadership programmes are integrated into Dubai Health’s wider talent‑management and policy frameworks.
- Program Development & Delivery
- Design, implement and oversee comprehensive leadership programmes across various leadership levels from emerging leaders to senior executives.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
- Develop and deliver innovative learning solutions including workshops, seminars, e‑learning and blended learning methods.
- Manage mentorship and coaching programmes to foster ongoing leadership growth.
- Measurement & Improvement
- Evaluate programme effectiveness using data, feedback and best‑practice benchmarks.
- Continuously refine leadership development initiatives based on insights and strategic direction.
- Academic & Research Contributions
- Teach, assess and supervise projects within leadership development academic programmes at IOL.
- Participate in research and contribute to leadership development publications and wide‑talent initiatives.
Will be interacting internally with stakeholders and external agents, including organisational learning teams such as Flex Campus Learning & Development, IOL teams, Health Professions Education, Digital Learning Lab, etc., and subject‑matter experts in leadership across the entity.
Requirements
- Minimum: a Master’s degree in leadership, healthcare leadership, adult education, curriculum design or equivalent.
- Certification in project management or equivalent; mentoring/coaching qualification.
- Overall experience of 7 years in the context of education or healthcare.
- Specific role experience of 3 years leading teams in a higher‑education and/or healthcare context.
- Preferred candidates who have experience in both academic and learning & development functions.
- UAE NATIONALS ONLY.
