Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Telecom Engineerto support EPC oil & gas projects in the UAE. The role requires strong ADNOC project exposure, leadership capability, and hands-on experience across telecom systems engineering, vendor coordination, and client interfacing.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage telecom engineering activities for EPC projects
• Develop and review telecom engineering deliverables including: Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), Datasheets, Engineering calculations and adequacy checks
• Design and engineering of telecom systems such as: PAGA, Access Control System (ACS), CCTV, Telephony, Structured Cabling Systems, PABX, Fiber Optic Communication (FOC)
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support 3D model reviews
• Interface with clients, consultants, and vendors for technical clarifications and approvals
• Ensure engineering quality, schedule adherence, and technical integrity
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers

Key Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline
• 15+ years of total experience in telecom engineering
• Mandatory ADNOC project experience
• Proven experience handling EPC projects
• Prior experience working with reputed EPC contractors
• Strong knowledge of offshore/onshore oil & gas telecom systems
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and coordination skills
• Proactive, self-driven, and a strong team player
• Ability to join within 1–2 weeks
• Experience in UAE oil & gas projects
• Strong vendor management and document review expertise
• Familiarity with international and ADNOC telecom standards
