Qualifications

• 15 years of mechanical engineering experience with at least 3 years in a lead senior role.
• Proven experience with FPSO projects including detailed design.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards: API, ASME, ISO.
• Experience working in the UAE or Middle East region preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design review and approval for offshore/onshore oil and gas projects including FPSO.
• Ensure mechanical systems and equipment comply with project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate mechanical activities across disciplines including piping, HVAC, and equipment layout.
• Review vendor drawings, technical specifications, and FAT reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical engineering team.
• Conduct technical audits and ensure quality control during design and construction phases.
• Support procurement activities with technical evaluations and vendor interface.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and safety assessments.
