Organization Unit Purpose

Emirates NBD is committed to leveraging AI and data-driven insights to enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and drive strategic decision-making across business and support functions within the Group. Central to this commitment is the Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence (AA CoE), which is a specialized division serving as the Group's hub for advanced analytics and AI capabilities, fostering a data-centric culture and delivering actionable intelligence across the organization.

AA CoE houses the Product Office, Data Science, Data Strategy and Data Visualization functions.

Job Purpose

The role will be in the Analytics Product Office, which is responsible for leveraging Advanced Analytics capabilities to design, build, integrate, and scale analytics solutions across the bank through established digital and platform delivery tribes. The Product Office works collaboratively with internal analytics expertise including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Domain Specialists as well as with business and support functions to ideate and shape analytics initiatives and are involved in end-to-end delivery through established tribes. It plays a critical role in embedding analytics and driving change management, ensuring analytics initiatives and use case transition seamlessly from concept into enduring solutions that deliver business impact, aligned with the Group’s Strategic Priorities.

Key priorities of the Product Office involve enabling business-led analytics delivery basis the operating model, in close collaboration with other teams in the bank and enable innovation and integration within and beyond AA CoE.

The Lead role will be responsible to assist in all elements of developing the AA CoE strategy, including owning certain elements of the AI agenda across the ENBD group. The role is responsible for deeply understanding business processes and needs, identifying opportunities, and shaping AI-driven solutions through rapid ideation and solution design to address priority use cases. The role is also responsible for developing roadmaps for key analytics initiatives, maintaining oversight across the use-case lifecycle, particularly post-rollout, working closely with business teams to ensure adoption and IT teams to be involved in delivery, track outcomes, and deliver sustained business value.

Assist in formulating overall AA/AI Strategy – encompassing AI initiatives, in line with Data strategy roadmap and integration with DSP
  • Assist in driving and developing the overall CoE strategy, enabling the unit to design and deliver cutting-edge analytics and AI solutions across businesses within ENBD.
  • Help drive CoE strategy alignment with key stakeholders through preparatory analysis on various business metrics, market trends and industry best practices
  • Ensure ongoing alignment of analytics initiatives and strategy with related CoE chapters, particularly Data Strategy and DSP efforts.
  • Support Digital and Fintech partnership teams in scouting relevant Fintechs, to support ongoing and planned AA initiatives
Business use cases conception and solution design
  • Partner with business stakeholders to conceptualize analytics and AI use cases, including prioritization, requirements gathering, pilot execution, and roadmap creation.
  • Identify and drive cross-functional and cross-segment opportunities, working closely with internal CoE teams, and business units to deliver initiatives end to end.
  • Support delivery across the full use-case lifecycle, from conception and MVP through scale-up and production, in partnership with digital and platform delivery tribes, ensuring alignment with use case objectives.
  • Define and guide the use of appropriate tech stack (traditional AA/GenAI) to deliver high-performance, enterprise-scale ML solutions, incorporating model learning, monitoring, and feedback loops to enable continuous improvement.
  • Track and assess impact throughout the lifecycle, monitoring progress, outcomes, and value realization of analytics initiatives.
  • Enable adoption and change management by embedding solutions into BAU processes, addressing integration challenges, and through business led delivery
AI program related solution development and delivery assistance
  • Conduct diagnostics to consolidate and assess existing AI programs and initiatives across the bank, in collaboration with sponsor functions, digital and other teams.
  • Develop a strategic AI roadmap to scale priority initiatives, incorporating business feedback and annual priorities.
  • Shape solution approaches and define suitable technology and AI stacks in line with problem statements and target outcomes.
  • Work closely with CoE and non-CoE delivery teams to plan, execute, and deliver AI initiatives end to end.
  • Identify and manage risks and dependencies proactively while preparing senior-management reporting on AI program progress and outcomes.
AA COE level program reporting and governance
  • Coordinate with business, Digital, technology, and CoE teams to consolidate inputs and deliver accurate program-level reporting across AI and analytics initiatives.
  • Prepare and support quarterly and periodic reporting for AA CoE, including inputs for Investor Relations, EXCO committees, and other governance forums.
  • Ideate and support in organizing various workshops within or outside AA CoE
  • Support with All hands material preparation including offsite planning and execution
Education

Experiences
  • 6 to 9 years, preferably in consulting or BFSI
  • Previous experience working across multiple projects as consultant/ analyst
  • Experience in working alongside high-performing teams within BFSI in domains such as strategy, data governance or analytics.
  • Experience in agile working environments
  • Experience with developing strategies for advance analytic units or units responsible for big data
